Denver has great things going for it!
Colorado’s local economy and real estate market is staying stable.
Much of the current news of economic disaster has not hit Colorful Colorado the way it has hit so many other states.
The number of foreclosures is decreasing, and the number of houses being sold outweighs the number of houses currently on the market
(including foreclosures) in several cities including Thornton, Broomfield, Westminster, and Cherrycreek.
The Danish company Vestas, the world’s leading supplier of wind power solutions, has decided to invest in several factories in Colorado for the production of their wind turbines and blades. The plan is to build two manufacturing plants in Brighton, in addition to the factory in Windsor Colorado. The two manufacturing plants will bring approximately 1,400 jobs to the Brighton area.
ConocoPhillips has purchased the former StorageTek campus in Louisville Colorado for a training center. They have chosen Louisville because of it’s close proximity to Colorado School of Mines, University of Colorado, Colorado State University, University of Denver, and the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
We love hosting community events in Cherrywood Park such as the Community Garage Sales each summer. There is always a great turn out, and we love visiting with the residents!
If you have any great community event ideas we would
love to hear them by writing to:
